Mission Antarctica

The images summarize the first of three overwintering missions of the EDEN ISS greenhouse in 2018/19.

The photos depict visual atmospheres of the Antarctic environment as well as the astounding landscape. The team effort of the EDEN ISS team made it possible to set-up such a facility and because of its success it will run for 2 more overwintering periods. The photos also show the gardening work and the interaction with mission control at DLR in Bremen.
