Its purpose is the development and validation of technologies and procedures for plant cultivation in space. The laboratory consists of four main areas: the working area, the analytics room, the utility room and the experimentation room, the heart of the laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>Within the experimentation room are nine growth chambers. There are currently used to cultivate different kind of lettuces and cucumber.
